Remember back in the day, when you used to go to the video store (ok first, remember video stores?), possibly when you were a kid and you used to see the same video boxes week after week? Some of them had awesome artwork, some of them had disturbing images...but whatever the reason they more than likely burned the images on your brain. You may never have even gotten around to watching the movie, but for whatever reason the box art left it's mark on you.
Well that is the inspiration for Movie Meltdown's on-going series Video Boxes that Warped my Brain! As we go along we comment on some of the VHS boxes (and obviously the original one-sheets) that either we remember from our youth...or that we have rediscovered today, and think are impressive!
